This should be the very first thing that you do if you are planning on living a traveller’s lifestyle. Credit card statements, bank statements and insurance renewals are only a sample of what you can convert to paperless billing. As long as you can have everything sent to your email address, you will always be in the know when it comes to your important information.

Find a Physical Mailing Address

If you are travelling abroad, it doesn’t necessarily matter whether or not you have an actual physical mailing address. However, there are going to be certain things that will require you to have an actual address, those being taxes, your driver’s license and voting to name a few. So, what are you supposed to do for an actual physical mailing address? 

The first thing that you are going to want to do is try and use a friend or family member’s address. It won’t be a burden to them as all they need to do is set your mail into a separate pile whenever you get anything. Just be aware that if there is some important information, they are going to need to open your mail so that they can let you know what that information really is. 

So be sure that you trust whoever it is who’s the address you are using. If you are able to do this, you will have no trouble getting all of your important information while you are out travelling.
